Viber & WhatsApp are two apps that have impacted and disrupted the telcos industry. Its hard to compete with a less than $0.0001 per message VS $1 per 20 SMSs
At a family function in Zim, I was impressed when my elderly uncle said thats how he communicates with my cousin(his son) in the US.
Would be good to know how such apps have impacted Netone, Telecel and Econet profits.
