Great stuff girls, keep up the innovation.
I wouldn't call this a urine-powered generator. Its a hydrogen powered generator. I believe all they did was copy and paste a way to make hydrogen from urine. I say copy and paste because its been done before world over. We also did a similar experiment in my A Level biology class down there in dusty, forgotten Gwanda over a decade ago!!
I would love to know the source of energy for the electrolysis. I also have a feeling this is some "clever" Biology/Chemistry/Integrated Science teacher hiding behind 14-year old girls. And the 6 hr of electricty...thats a "reckless" statement.....a 12V 600H fully solar-charged car battery can light up 5 8W light bulbs for over 6 hours....my point being, how much electricity can the 1L urine provide....
However, I still commend and respect such innovation. Great work ladies.
