Whistle blowing would be useful but it depends to whom you are blowing the whistle to hoping he himself is not corrupt. Its like reporting a thief to the Chief of Thieves.

My sister has struggled for months to get a bank account in South Africa, and needs to send money back to our mother in Zimbabwe. This is a welcome product and I think it will do pretty well.

They probably would rather not be beholden to a competitor. Redundancy seems like a good thing to me - if they can afford it.

A full solar system is more expensive than both grid power (ZESA) and generator with payback periods of 15 years and more. Hopefully the capital cost for solar will continue decreasing, and with increasing tariffs, solar will soon be competitive. This is the same not only in Zimbabwe, but in other countries as well

After recently lost two redundant links internet being provided from one tunnel, l encourage every isp in zim to dig there tunnels if money permits.

Then they can build handshake points with each to provide backup so that they can help each other when links go down.

Nyaya yehuwori ndiyo inonditadzisa kushandira nyika yangu.

I love my country, bt it seems now you are frowned at if you are not corrupt.

Corruption have settled right in our homes and its now normal to pay or get paid a bribe in everything you do.

One can only hope with all these duplicate fibre routes, Zim is set to have Africa's most affordable, reliable and fastest internet....but for now with greed at the top of most ISPs agenda thats all but a distant dream.

Straying a little of topic here but the article said a little on how ordinary people have to pay for their licences....Yes there are those that can't really drive that do pay for them but even the perfect driver still has to pay as it seems the VID will only pass you if you get the 1 out of the 7 test instructers that isnt corrupt or you organise the bribe so that they pass you though you would have passed the legal way. And if you dare try report any of them, you will be secretly blacklisted and can forget about getting your license in Harare and will have to go to cities like Kadoma.

lol...not bucksed up at all mate. I top up $45 on telecel for one GB plus a bonus 1 GB making it 2 GB total. I rarely game on week nights (Mon-Fri total 4hours). On weekends I can on average play online for about 3-5 hours (depending if the girlfriend will allow ;)) on saturday and sunday. I go through about 100MB on Xbox LIVE per week. I pay for xbox LIVE via FBC card which is about $5 a month. So total for a good amount of gaming in a month is about $50, but I use a good chunk of my bandwidth on mobile internet whatsapp, opera mini, apps etc also I use it for my personal web browsing via PC. Online gaming isnt as out of reach as most people think imo.

So basically what Telone announced here is just a "high sounding nothing" because there is no information contained in this article at all

Let me generalize this. This debate has rumbled on for a while but I firmly believe that using goal line technology in football (soccer) is wrong.

Its just hectic at University. I have my own cousin(a girl) who needed to get student residence at MSU, and the person(s) in charge (a student and official) wanted sexual favors. Its really sickening but not new.

Same thing happened at NUST and way back in early 2000. The dean of students at that time had his own issues, and female students were particular targets.

In the classroom environment you would see/hear of some level of corruption but it was very hard to pinpoint or prove. Proving would actually mark you for victimisation. Chances of even getting an appeal would be futile and also expose you to being victimised. The golden rule(during my time) was dont make enemies with the lecturer(s). It would take a whole lot of effort to be considered for an appeal if there was an issue. Odds were always against those who tried.

I am sure you are aware of the rising prices in Zimbabwe (fuel, rentals, licensing to name a few)..... I think Yo Africa billing team suffers from dementia ,probably the're not aware of the statement they are making.
